Mark Stagnone, DC

I first discovered the benefits of chiropractic while in my 3rd year of studies at Merrimack College as a Biology major/pre-dental program.  It was at this time when I suffered an on-the-job back injury while working part-time delivering office furniture.  At the recommendation of my employer, I saw a chiropractor, and had amazing results.  In the course of exploring chiropractic, I found the principles of anatomy and physiology to be consistent with those principles I was being taught at Merrimack in my major studies on nerve physiology and human anatomy.  I could not understand, given my positive experience and sound principles of function and anatomy, why chiropractic wasn't more accepted.  I trusted my instincts and in spite of coming from a very traditional medical background, I made the decision to pursue chiropractic.  My instincts did not disappoint.

I have had the immense pleasure over the past 30 years of seeing chiropractic help hundreds with their back and neck related problems, yet even more pleasing, I have seen countless adults and children regain health from a variety of conditions including migraines, asthma, chronic ear infections, digestive complaints, bed wetting, vertigo, and a wide variety of neuropathies such as sciatic and carpal tunnel syndrome.

An unfortunately rapidly growing area of need is that related to the postural effects of forward head posturing associated with poor office ergonomics, computer and video gaming, and texting.  These changes are affecting an ever younger part of our population involving neck, shoulder, and arm complaints as well as headaches.  Chiropractic is ideally suited for helping individuals correct the mechanical factors contributing to these conditions when incorporated with proper exercise and ergonomic advice.
